Having worked myself in the corporate world and as a woman entrepreneur for 20+ years, I know what it means to be overworked, underrested, depleted and stressed to the point of a burnout.
When we’re in our 20s and 30s we might get away with it, but we’ll pay the price later, and when we’re getting older, our body starts to rebel more and more, with our nervous system completely out of balance which leads to fatigue, low stress resilience, digestion issues, sleep issues, which affects every aspect of our lives negatively.
Bringing our nervous system back to a balanced state is key for our physical and mental well-being. This is self-care that is neither indulgent nor frivolous, but necessary for a long and healthy life.
Real life challenges can have a detrimental effect on our nervous system, our sleep, our stress resilience, and our wellbeing. We give our all at work, we want to be there for our families, our friends, our colleagues, and self-care is often the first thing that takes a back seat.
Creating and sticking with healthy habits where self-care takes center stage again has a huge effect on our wellbeing. Instilling deep change and escaping burnout can be as simple as peeling our eyes off the screen we spend too much time on, introducing the power of nutrition, intentional sleep and rest, optimizing physical activity, creating deeper stress resilience.
As a health coach, I don’t prescribe or tell you what to you. Rather, I work with you as a partner and accountability buddy, guiding you to your absolute best self.
